Common Practice
Among the practices undertaken at the Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the practice of visiting. This practice is in conformity with the commands of the religion of Islam itself. On the morning of Hari Raya Aidilfitri (usually before and immediately after performing prayers Hari Raya Aidilfitri), Muslims who have lost relatives to visit them and donate Pusara Surah Al-Fatihah, or the reading of Surah Yassin. Then they will visit the homes of relatives and friends. They will bermaaf-Taqwa and forget past mistakes. Essentially, Hari Raya is a day to celebrate, bermaaf-Taqwa, and day to strengthen ties among Muslims as well as celebrating the success of worship of God.
